| Shenandoah Dulcimer is an exquisite 2006 Section A filly that we purchased at the 2008 Farnley/Shenandoah sale. One look at her and we had to have her. She has a darling head with tiny ears and huge Welshy eyes. She has a long beautiful neck and is very correct. She moves like her father, 2 time National Champion Farnley Magic Flute. Flute is the sire of champions Farnley Magic Word (2x National Champion ),Farnley Electra, Farnley Byron (Upperville Breeding Champion), Shenandoah Samoa (Upperville Reserve Breeding Champion), Shenandoah Lovestory, and Farnley Glance (among others). He is also the sire of Orchard Hill's Symphony (dam of Lee Hill Hollywood who was 2nd in the model at Pony Finals and 3rd overall, 3rd over fences at Washington International, 1st in the stake and 6th in the model at Devon - to name a few). We took her to her first show on July 19th, after only having her for a week. She was a saint for Rob and did everything he asked of her. She received a 3rd and a 4th in her class. |
